Interns:

We are committed to working with our interns to help them achieve an outstanding education at LG&H through our leadership, coaching, mentoring and maximum exposure to every aspect of our firm.

Our workplace culture is one of our firm’s top priorities. We are a small firm that celebrates diversity, encourages collaboration, and strives for continuous growth and development. It’s what makes us successful. We instituted a ‘dress for your day’ policy a few years ago, and it means exactly what it says. If you are at a client location or meeting with clients or representing the firm at an event, dress appropriately for that. If you are not, dress casually (within reason!)

Our firm culture isn’t just important to our team members—it’s also a valuable asset for our clients. We find that when we invest in our team, then the work we do—like delivering consistent outstanding professional client service—will naturally follow.

We primarily recruit 4th and 5th year students studying accounting at University of Maine Orono and Husson College and work with the school’s intern program. Typically, our internships are during tax season, starting in January and continuing until the April deadline. We do occasionally offer summer internships.
